Braun Coffee Mill

To Use For Fresh Herbs

1.  Rinse the fresh herbs of your choice.  Cilantro is used here.  Let it dry by air, blot with a soft towel or use a salad spinner.

2.  Fill desired amount into the measuring lid.

3.  Place herb in the machine.

Line up the lid's tab with the base connection.

To chop, press the top of the black button.  Quickly press and release until you have the desired size.  I used 9 pulses.  Remove any stems you do not want.

Do not immerse this machine to clean.  Rinse only the top cup area with water, then immediately dry with a paper towel or use a wet rag to wipe it out.

To Use For Nuts

I tried almonds first but they were too dense for this machine.  I also put in to much.

Use softer and smaller nuts to try in this mill.  Walnuts and peanuts worked well with this appliance.  For the nuts measure to the 2nd line on the lid/cap.  Pulse for 5-7 times or to the size you need for your recipe.

Tip:  keep whole or chopped nuts in an air tight container or glass jar on the door rack in your freezer.  I like to save my parmesean cheese plastic containers when they are empty and use those to hold my nuts in the freezer.  Or you can use just the dispensing top lid and it will fit glass mason jars.

If you are a coffee drinker, by all means use this coffee mill to grind fresh smelling coffee beans to your favorite blend size.  The smaller the grind the stronger the coffee cup flavor.
