Keurig Ramen Veggie Soup
1 3oz. pkg. ramen noodle soup
1/2 - 1 cup of your favorite veggies, extremely thin slices (use a mandolin or slicer)
Toppings like: fresh herbs (basil, green onion top, garlic green top, chives, cilantro, etc.) parmesean cheese, seasonings, butter spray
1. Fill Keurig water tank with filtered water to fill line. Preheat the water.
2. Prepare vegetables. For carrots and zucchini, the mandolin or slicer is perfect.
Sissors work well for the fresh herbs.
Place in the serving dish. Pour in the seasoning packet. Add the noodles.
3. Lift machine handle, press dispense hot water, continue then 10 oz. (depends on the dish size). Press dry noodles into liquid then again at about 1/2 minute.
Cover for about 6 minutes. Stir just the noodles at about 4 minutes. After 6 minutes stir the vegetables at the bottom into the noodles.
Add any toppings you like.
I think this tastes better made on the stove top but this is nice on days when you don't want to heat up the house and or like aldente better.
The bottom 1/3 of the dish is where the soupy part is.
This machine was won on a penny auction. I paid less than 70 cents for it, brand new and it had free shipping to the U.S.A.
